Salmon Package with Lemon and Capers
I prefer to bake my salmon in a package of aluminum foil, because grilling the salmon immediately may cause the fillet to split when turned. This way you can't go wrong and you have a delicious juicy and tender piece of baked salmon! Try this salmon parcel with lemon and capers and I hope you will like it!
It is very essential to use a large piece of aluminum foil when making the salmon. This prevents the juices from leaking out of the package and that all aromas are preserved!
- 600 gr salmon fillets
- 60 ml olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 8 slices of lemon
- juice of 1 lemon
- 100 ml white wine
- 4 tbsp capers
Brush the top and bottom of salmon fillets with olive oil and season the fillets with salt, pepper and rosemary. Place each piece of seasoned salmon on a piece of foil large enough to cover the salmon.
Now place 2 lemon slices, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoons wine and 1 tablespoon capers on top of each piece of salmon. Then fold the aluminum foil tightly.
Turn on a grill pan over medium heat or light the barbecue. Put the salmon parcels in the pan or place on the side of the grill on the barbecue for indirect grilling
