Lettuce Wraps with Tuna and Avocado Dressing
You can make a healthy and low-carb version of filled tortilla wraps with this recipe. The filled lettuce wraps are both fresh and low in carbohydrates! You can serve the stuffed lettuce wraps with tuna and avocado dressing for lunch or a light evening meal. You can also try other lettuce wrap fillings like turkey fillets or bacon.
- 4 large lettuce leaves (romaine lettuce)
- 1 can of drained tuna.
- 45 gr cherry tomatoes
- 30 gr grated carrot
- 1/2 small red onion
Avocado dressing
- 125 ml Greek yogurt
- 1/4 small avocado
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1/2 clove of garlic
- lime juice
- 1/8 tbsp salt
- black pepper to taste
Use a blender or food processor to make the avocado dressing. Add the yogurt, avocado,parsley, garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper. Turn on the blender and mix until smooth. Add a little water if the dressing is too thick.
Next, take alarge cutting board and cut the cherry tomatoes and red onions into smallpieces. Then divide the tuna, cherry tomatoes, onion and carrot over thefour lettuce leaves. Sprinkle the lettuce leaves with a tablespoon ofdressing and serve!
