Low-carbohydrate Granola

Welcome to today's awesome recipe! Regular granola from the supermarket often contains a lot of grains, dried fruit, and added sugar. In making this granola, only used nuts, coconut, seeds, and kernels have been used. This recipe is super easy and ready between 25-30minutes. The granola is crispy and has a slightly sweet vanilla flavor. The granola is enjoyable when taken with yogurt or quark for breakfast or snack.

  • 200 gr raw nut mix
  • 80 gr coconut chips
  • 40 gr pumpkin seeds
  • 50 gr linseed
  • 50 gr sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 50 gr coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla aroma
  • 3 tbsp water
  1. Preheat the convection oven to165 degrees. Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan. When the oil has melted, add the vanilla aroma, sugar-free syrup, and water while stirring. Then remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the nuts, seeds, kernels, and cinnamon. Pour the oil mixture over the nuts and stir well into the granola. Divide the granola over a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake the granola for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven. Toss the granola every 5 minutes so that it does not burn.

  3. After baking for 15 minutes, add the coconut chips and fry for 5-10 minutes. Let the granola cool down after baking and store it in a large jar. Serve the granola with a portion of full-fat Greek yogurt. Enjoy your meal!
