1. Spit to Manly
This is the quintessential Sydney walk. Located in the urban setting of north shore suburbs the easy 10Km trail is ideal if you want a less demanding run. The trail is amazing: pockets of trees with gnarled branch limbs, dramatic cliffs, breathtaking coast views and the occasional trail animal life.
2. La Perouse to Cape Banks
Fancy a run that mixes some Australian history with stunning coastal views? Check out La Perouse. Named after the French navigator Jean-François de Galaup, comte de Lapérouse (1741–88), who landed on the northern shore of Botany Bay west of Bare Island on 26 January 1788. It is one of only a handful of Sydney locations with a French name.

3. Lane Cove
Nestled in the heart of Sydney is a little gem called the Lane Cove National Park. Its an amazing national park set right in the heart of the inner-city around Lane Cove. Jumping on this trail will make you feel like you are miles away from civilization. This makes the trail a great option for Sydney city dwellers who want to hit the dirty but don’t want to go far.
The urban location also makes this a super accessible run. You can start from the Thornleigh train station and then end up at in Macquarie Park station or do reverse.
